The client request was to transform part of the common spaces to small studios. In addition, all remaining 10 rooms and studios had to be fully renovated. The idea was that Naxos economy in the past was based on marble; numerous quarries with different product quality dominated the market. Therefore, we based our design strategy on local materials and traditional forms in order to establish a new concept. Simplicity of forms, efficient maintenance costs combined with the Cycladic traditional minimalism.

The project was designed and implemented in 2014.
