This thematic sushi restaurant is a part of a summer resort hotel in Corfu island. The traditional japanese “Tokonoma” is placed at the entrance to welcome guests whereas the sushi bar is placed in the middle as the main centerpiece and focal point. The ceiling is designed as a reflection of the traditional japanese tatami floors with a series of dark wooden frames. Bespoke lighting and furniture complements the final ambience. The project was designed and completed in 2008.
